OUR CAST

ANNA C

Anna has been dancing for over 15 years, training extensively in a wide range of styles including ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, Broadway, musical theatre, and more. She is a passionate dance teacher and troupe manager at EPA, where she teaches across all styles. Anna’s recent musical theatre credits include High School Musical(2023) and Mamma Mia! (2024), where she performed as a featured dancer, choreographer, and dance captain. Her choreography for Mamma Mia! earned her a CAT Award for Best Choreography. Anna is currently completing her undergraduate degree in Health Science at ANU, with aspirations to pursue a career in medicine. She continues to nurture her love for performing both on stage and in the studio.

ANNA S

Annaliese has been absorbed in performing on stage since age 5 with her first dance concert at Legs Dance Studio. This was followed by numerous dance concerts, various school musicals playing the role of Cha Cha from Grease in her year 12 musical, Free Rain Theatres production of Spamalot (2023), Billy Elliot (2024) and The Boy from Oz (2024). Annaliese is currently in her final year of studying a Bachelor of Medical Science with the completion of a minor in chemistry at ANU.

ASH

Ash is a Canberra freelance dance teacher and performer. She has trained in a variety of genres including ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, acro and musical theatre from the age of 4. She has completed several exams and teaching qualifications with the Royal Academy of Dance, Acrobatic Arts and the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing. She has competed in eisteddfods in the ACT and NSW from 2013 to 2020. Ash has been part of previous productions with Canberra Philharmonic Society such as Grease (2020), The 70th Anniversary Musical Extravaganza (2021), Cats (2023), and as Skylar (one of the lead roles) in Bring It On(2024).She has also been in the Queanbeyan Players production of Footloose (2023), and more recently in Free-Rain’s production of The Boy From Oz (2024) as one of the Dance Captains.

ELLIE

Ellie has been deeply engaged in the theatre industry since her youth, showcasing her talents in singing, dancing, and acting. Since relocating to Canberra in 2019, Ellie has shone as a featured dancer in various musicals, such as “Nice Work If You Can Get It” with Queanbeyan Players (Dance Captain), "Priscilla: Queen of the Desert" with Free-Rain Theatre Company, and "Grease," "Jersey Boys" and "The Who's Tommy" with the Canberra Philharmonic Society. Ellie’s love for theatre is not only expressed onstage, but offstage as well through the management of Templo Theatre. "A Prohibition Romance" marked her debut as both writer and choreographer, and its success with Templo Theatre has encouraged her to create more shows for Canberra, these being "Through The Decades" and the "ABBA Dining Experience". EMILY

Emily is a versatile performer with a passion for acting, singing, and dancing. Known for captivating audiences across a range of shows and styles, she’s thrilled to return to the Templo Theatre after her performances in All That Glitters and A Prohibition Romance. Emily’s recent theatre credits include Ado Annie in Oklahoma! (Queanbeyan Players, 2023), Urleen in Footloose! (Queanbeyan Players, 2023), and Blue Girl in Downtown! (Queanbeyan Players, 2023). Her previous roles also include Goldilocks in Goldilocks and The Three Bears (Echo Theatre, 2022), Ariel in The Little Mermaid (Ickle Pickle, 2020), Nancy in Oliver! (Queanbeyan Players, 2019), Minnie Fay in Hello, Dolly! (Queanbeyan Players, 2019), Ensemble/Belle Understudy in Beauty and The Beast (Canberra Philharmonic, 2019), Charity Barnum/Ensemble in Barnum (Canberra Philharmonic, 2018), and Justine in Dr Frankenstein (Canberra REP, 2018), as well as Wendy Darling in Peter Pan (Ickle Pickle, 2017). With her wealth of experience and love for the stage, Emily is excited to bring her energy and talent to this special cabaret performance.

EMMA

Emma English began performing in community productions with a highlight being her hometown’s production of ‘Bungendore’s Tribute to Sondheim’ (2022). Her recent roles include ensemble/cowgirl in ‘Footloose’ (QP, 2023), ensemble in ‘Spamalot’ (Free Rain, 2023), Kylar in ‘Bring It On’ (Canberra Philharmonic, 2024), ensemble in ‘American Idiot’ (QP, 2024) and ensemble in ‘Nice Work If You Can Get It’ (QP, 2025). She performed the National Anthem at The Australian of The Year Awards on ABC, in 2024 and in 2025 singing backup for Dami Im (Canberra Arboretum, 2024-2025). Emma previously danced in a competitive troupe team and completed RAD Ballet Exams with consecutive distinctions. She is currently performing in the competitive ANU Cheer and Dance teams. Emma is in her final year of studying a Bachelor of Music at ANU, in Jazz Vocal Performance, and has taught dance and musical theatre, also running her own singing teaching business.

JORDAN

Jordan has been a performer, choreographer, and director for many theatre companies over the past 25 years. He appeared last year in the award winning productions of ‘Bring It On’ (Philo) and The Boy From Oz (Free Rain). Jordan has been nominated for many CAT awards for his choreography, and onstage work, and most recently as director for Philo’s 2023 critically acclaimed, and multiple nominated/award winning production of ‘Cats’. He has previously won a Critics Circle Dance Award and the Gold CAT Award. Jordan has worked on multiple productions and events over the years (including tv and film), starred in and choreographed Canberra feature film ‘Theatre of the Dead’ (currently streaming on Amazon Prime) and is a group fitness instructor & international Les Mills fitness presenter. He has choreographed interstate and performed outside Australia in such places as the USA and UK.

LACHLAN

Lachlan is a dedicated performer and a two-time CAT Award winner. He won Best Youth Actor In a Leading Role in a Musical for his role as Frank Abagnale Jr. in Catch Me If You Can and the Ovation award for Outstanding Featured Performance in a Musical for his role as Greg Connell in Free Rain’s The Boy From Oz. Lachlan trained in musical theatre at Eden Dance Academy for two years. Since then, Lachlan has taken on a variety of roles, including Tony in Free Rain’s Billy Elliot, Gomez in The Addams Family, and Pablo Gonzalez in Free Rain’s A Streetcar Named Desire. He was also understudy for Joseph in Philos Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He has also had the opportunity to perform as a featured artist at notable venues like Qudos Bank Arena and the WIN Entertainment Centre, as part of Schools Spectacular and Southern Stars.

LILLIAN

Lillian is a proud Yuin woman born and bred on Ngunnawal land. She is currently in her final semester of a Bachelor of Music majoring in Jazz/Contemporary voice Performance and Composition at the ANU School of Music. A quadruple threat, Lillian is a musician, dancer, actor, and composer. In 2023, she made her professional theatre debut as Lois in Victorian Opera’s ‘The Visitors’ by Dharug composer Christopher Sainsbury and Muruwari playwright Jane Harrison. Notable solo performances include, composing and performing graduation song for Dickson College where Lillian held an ACT Aboriginal Secondary Scholarship (2021). In the 2021 National Eisteddfod, Lillian was awarded First Prize in both Open Musical Theatre and Popular music. More recent performances include: Harry’s Heavies ANU Variety Night, David Pereira’s 70s Not Out Performance series in Canberra and Sydney 2023.  Lillian has appeared in principal roles including Titania in Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Hunyak in Chicago with Dickson College Drama (2021), Wendy in Dazzle Dance Academy’s Peter Pan Ballet (2021). Lillian is currently in production at the Yil Lull Studio at ANU, working on an EP of her own original songs that she plans to release in 2025.

SAM

Sam is fairly new to the Canberra theatre scene with his first show in 2023. He's since been in critically successful productions such as “Bring It On” with Canberra Philharmonic, “American Idiot” with Queanbeyan Players and “Antigone” with Greek Theatre Now. Sam has had a strong passion for theatre, dance and music from a young age and hopes to continue performing for as long as possible. Outside of theatre, Sam enjoys running, lifting weights and playing american football for the Gungahlin Wolves. He is a recent graduate of Lake Ginninderra College and aims to continue studying music and theatre at the tertiary level.

TERESA

With her performances described as 'compelling and beautiful in equal measure', Teresa is a versatile and seasoned singer and performer. Classically trained in NZ and Europe, Teresa also finds herself at home in musical theatre and modern styles. You may have recently seen her in the Spanish Saturday fund-raiser concert for Valencia or as Cascada in National Opera's production of Merry Widow last year. Teresa is enjoying contributing to the growing cabaret scene in Canberra.
